Sharon Trylovich began Try Lov Designs in 2009, after sewing pet harnesses as community service for a small dog rescue group, turning the hobby into a business.
Why harnesses? Harnesses are the preferred method for leashing pets, in small dogs especially, due to the susceptibility for developing Collapsible Trachea. (More information can be found on Try Lov Design’s website: www.trylovdesigns.com.) In addition to harnesses, Try Lov Designs soon found there were many sewing needs in the pet community. Coats, shirts, and pajamas were soon added to the line for warmth in winter. Dresses and Tuxedo Vests are in demand for Santa Paws photos and the holidays. Carriers for shopping are popular for moms and dads so that the "kids" can go everywhere in comfort and style. Wooden elevated beds for pampered furry kids are offered, custom built and personalized, to keep furry kids warm, snuggly and free from cold drafts on the floor. The beds are made by Sharon’s talented husband. Leather collars are available for larger dogs. Unique memorial stones can be engraved for a deceased pet or to honor a live pet.
Sharon sewed for her 2 daughters as they were growing up, so it is no surprise her products are quite different from apparel you might find in the pet store. The Gracie Mae Designer Line developed as one of Try Lov's customers wanted clothing made similar to children's clothing. Each design is unique because the fabric and design are selected by the client to create a very special dress, harness or outfit.
The newest product line offered is dog related and/or seasonal themed aprons, totes, tees and sweat shirts. The items are hand pressed on high quality tees and sweats. You will find a gift that every animal lover will love.
